A group of Anthropology majors from Albion College visited Romulus Elementary to educate the students about anthropology. The students were taught about King Tutankhamun, the young Pharaoh of Egypt’s New Kingdom. They learned how archaeologists concluded that King Tut was only 19 years old when he died by estimating his age based on the closure of the sagittal suture at the top of the cranium. The students also learned about a Viking Age grave and how to identify an individual based on hip bones.
